Summer Drink Drive

Wherever summer takes you…

Don’t drink & drive. One drink isn’t worth the risk.

Wherever you plan on spending the glorious British summer, one drink could cost you:

6 months in prison, an unlimited fine, a driving ban or a serious crash. Don’t drink and drive.

Don’t be fooled into thinking that drinking a small amount won’t make a difference – any amount of alcohol will affect your ability to drive safely.

Driving at the legal limit means you are between two and five times more likely to crash.

If you drive at twice the legal alcohol limit you are at least 30 times more likely to cause a road crash, than a driver who hasn’t been drinking, and 50 times more likely to be involved in a fatal crash.

Around one in six of all road deaths involve drink drivers.
