Our work in road safety Education, Training and Publicity aims to contribute to and achieve reductions of people killed and seriously injured on Kent’s roads.

Kent Road Safety

Rearward facing is the safest way to travel. Under EU reg R129 ( I-Size) children must be rear facing till at least 15 months. R44/04 regulation they only need to be rear facing to 9kgs. Children should remain rear facing if possible, to at least 4 yrs. Go to a specialist retailer that sells rear and extended rear-facing car seats and is an expert in installing the seats into cars.
